Welcome Welcome to Simplexity Network. Use the menu bar above and the navigation column at the left to browse our site. Clicking on the banner will also return you to this page. Until the Services section of the site is completed, a quick run-down of what we offer can be found by clicking here.

Projects Page Online
Now, I know what some of you are thinking: why did it take me this long to put up the projects page if we've only got one project? Well, until now, I wasn't completely sure I was going to end up releasing AWM publicly. Well, now I am. The development site is online, but there really isn't any content yet. Keep in mind, though, that we will be developing AWM live on the server, so some downtime of that site is to be expected. It will not in any way affect this website. Check out the projects page for a link to the dev site.
UPDATE: I've also added a Featured Sites block to the navcolumn. It will contain links to some of the sites we host. It is by no means our complete list of hosted sites, and only those sites that catch our eyes will be linked.

File Manager Offline (Fixed)
For those of you using web hosting package 2, the web-based file manager is temporarily offline. I'm currently away from home, and was attempting to fix a small bug in the file manager. I wasn't thinking about what I was doing and accidentally broke it. So, this is completely my fault. When I get home, I will restore the affected files from backup and bring the file manager back online. I apologize for the inconvenience.
UPDATE: The file manager is now back online. On another note, I've decided to give the last-released beta (v2 beta 3) of the file manager a try. We're currently using v1.0.1 Final. This beta version was released sometime between 2003 and 2005; I've been unable to determine the exact date. Since then, there has been no development of the script at all. If I don't find too many bugs that I can't fix myself, we'll upgrade to the newer version. If you're signed up for web hosting package 2 and would like to help test the new file manager, please send me an e-mail. Otherwise, Paul and I will test it ourselves; we'll be using it to edit files on the server instead of using FTP or WebDAV. (I'm debating whether or not to add WebDAV access to package 2 and give file manager access to package 1. We'll see.)

Downtime
Between approximately 6:00 PM EST yesterday and 7:15 PM today, our primary server was offline. All web hosting and voice communication services were down during this time. E-mail and file hosting services were unaffected. The cause of the downtime was a power failure, and since I am currently on vacation without a laptop, I was unaware of the situation until I checked my e-mail today on my phone. Luckily, when I called someone was present to bring the server back online and I was able to get to a computer with Internet access to make this post.
We apologize for the inconvenience. |
